Your calendar stays yours.

What timepiece reads
When you connect Google Calendar, timepiece requests read-only access to your calendar list and events. It reads the calendars you select and the events that overlap the date range you choose, including their titles, start and end times, and colors. It uses those details to create notes in a song. It cannot create, change, or delete your Google Calendar events.
Where the data goes
Imported events and your Google access token remain in memory in your browser tab. They are not sent to timepiece's hosting server, saved in browser storage, sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. All audio is generated in your browser. You can connect multiple Google accounts and switch between their separate songs. Their short-lived access tokens and song data stay only in this tab. Refreshing or closing the tab clears all connections and songs.
Public calendars and files
You can import public Google Calendar links without signing in. Timepiece fetches these public feeds through its Cloudflare service and may cache the public response for ten minutes. Secret Google Calendar links are rejected. Other HTTPS iCalendar links are fetched directly by your browser when their host allows it. Imported .ics files are read in your browser and never uploaded. A file can contain private events; those events stay in this tab.
Services the site uses
Google handles sign-in and receives Calendar API requests directly from your browser. Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes ordinary web requests, including network information such as your IP address. timepiece does not use analytics.
Your choices
You choose which calendars to import. The Accounts menu lets you sign out of one or all Timepiece connections. Sign-out clears that account’s imported song and asks Google to revoke its access token. It does not sign you out of Google in other tabs. You can also remove timepiece's access through your Google Account connections. Changes you make in the sequencer affect only the song in the current tab.
Google API data use
timepiece's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
